405km and 5 days after starting, we got to Mulanje hospital (which we visit again tomorrow) and then up the slopes of the mountain (massif?) to our accommodation.
So much to think about and process - and unfortunately posting to the blog or the Facebook page hasn't been possible. However some photos are on my own Facebook, and I hope to do 'catch up' posts in the days and weeks to come.
Thanks for your ongoing prayer and financial support! The current total for all of us is £59,000 - just £3,000 short of the EMMS target, with yet more money to come in!
Zikomo kwambiri ! (thank you very much!)

3 more days...
...is all I have left to get ready to leave.
Milestone - shout out to Sheena who on behalf of the pair of us slightly disorganised people actually sorted out travel to and from London.
I have now got a list (thanks to my darling wife) of things I need to get and do (still to be added to, it has to be said) and since I didn't take the useful advice of a friend a few weeks ago along the lines of 'blatter yourself for two weeks, then take 5 days rest' I feel that I should still be doing some training.
So a 20 miler on Saturday (didn't go as planned; should have been almost twice that or more) and a planned outing with another friend planned for tomorrow - going to try and do about 50 miles if I can... and could even be home in time for (a late) lunch!
Now, whose idea was it for me to speak at the Scottish Parliament 2 days before leaving?! John Wilson... *shakes fist in mock anger*
